Bears enforcer Jeff Lynch has announced his retirement from Rugby League.
Speaking with Lynchy earlier today, he had this to say.
“A massive thank you to the Burleigh Bears club and family, to Jimmy and Drisco for initially taking a chance on me in 2016 and for helping me become the best version of myself not only on the football paddock but off the field as well.
Thanks to every single member of the Bears family, coaches, support staff, our fans, players I’ve played with and my close friends and family. I’m forever in debt for what this club has provided me and I will never forget some of the memories and friendships built here.
Bear #307 over and out.”
“Lynchy has been an integral part of the Bears playing squad since 2016. Lynchy should be very proud of his accomplishments over this time, being a huge part of the Bears success over the past 8 years, including the 2016 & 2019 Premiership Winning Teams.
Along with this success on the field, his influence off the field shouldn’t be underestimated. His efforts in shaping and fostering a positive culture within the Bears have been instrumental. Congrats on an outstanding career Lynchpin!” – Bears Head Coach, Luke Burt.
Thank you for everything Lynchy and all the best for the future! #307
