The Burleigh Heads RLFC Wall of Fame seeks to recognise and enshrine players, coaches and administrators who have contributed significantly to the Burleigh Bears- at any level- since the club’s inception in 1922.
A tough and tenacious half-back, ‘Ace’ was a crowd favourite in the 70’s and 80’s playing 200 games for Burleigh. The only player to be honoured with a testimonial year for his service to the club and was a key player in the 1979 and 1982 Premiership Teams.
Shane played 201 games for the Burleigh Bears through the 90’s and 2000’s and, is best remembered for scoring the winning try in extra time in the 2004 QLD Cup Grand Final. He was also a part of the the 1999 Premiership team and played QLD Residents (2006).
An accomplished hooker who regularly won his team the majority of scrums. Lee always gave quality service from dummy-half.
